These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TELA’s financial technology services and mobile application ("App"), including all related services, features, and products provided by TELA. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use our services.

1. Definitions
1.1 "TELA": Refers to the mobile application and platform provided by TELA, a fintech company incorporated in Nigeria, which offers financial services via a mobile application.

1.2 "User": Refers to any individual or entity who accesses or uses the TELA services, whether registered or not.

1.3 "Services": Refers to all services provided through the TELA platform, including but not limited to financial transactions, payment services, loans, investment options, and account management features.

1.4 "Account": Refers to the user’s registered account on the TELA app.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By using TELA’s services, you accept and agree to these Terms, as well as any amendments or updates to them. We may modify these Terms at any time, and we will notify you of such changes by updating the date at the top of this document. Continued use of the service after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Eligibility

3.1 General Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the TELA platform. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3.2 Account Registration: To access TELA’s full services, you must register an account on the platform. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information during registration. Failure to do so may result in restricted access to the services.

4. Account Security

4.1 Responsibility for Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username, password, PIN, etc.) and for all activities that occur under your account.

4.2 Account Suspension/Termination: TELA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect any suspicious activity, breach of these Terms, or non-compliance with regulatory requirements.

5. Services Provided

5.1 Financial Transactions: TELA enables users to make payments, transfer funds, manage budgets, access loans, and invest. You agree to use these services in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations in Nigeria.

5.2 Fees and Charges: TELA may charge transaction fees, service fees, or other fees as disclosed within the App. All fees are subject to change, and we will notify you of any significant changes.

5.3 Loan Services: If you apply for a loan through the TELA platform, you agree to the terms of the loan, including interest rates, repayment schedules, and any associated fees. The approval of loans is subject to credit evaluation and regulatory requirements.

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable Nigerian laws, including financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), and know your customer (KYC) requirements.

6.2 Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when using the App. You will promptly update your information in case of any changes.

6.3 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities while using TELA. This includes, but is not limited to, using the App for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any activity that violates Nigerian financial regulations.

7. Payment Processing

7.1 Payment Methods: TELA accepts various payment methods, including bank transfers, debit/credit cards, and mobile money services, subject to the payment provider's terms.

7.2 Transaction Disputes: If you have an issue with a payment or transaction, you should report it to TELA’s customer support within 30 days. We will review and attempt to resolve the issue in accordance with our policies.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Personal Information: TELA respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. Our collection and use of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8.2 Data Sharing: You agree to the collection and sharing of your data with third parties where necessary for the provision of services, including payment processors, loan providers, and regulatory bodies, in accordance with Nigerian law.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Ownership: All content, trademarks, software, and intellectual property within the TELA App are owned by [Company Name] or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.2 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, TELA’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Arbitration: Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of TELA will be resolved through binding arbitration under the laws of Nigeria, rather than in court.

11.2 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, and any legal action or proceeding shall be conducted in accordance with Nigerian law.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by User: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting TELA’s customer support. Upon termination, you will no longer have access to the services.

12.2 Termination by TELA: TELA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the services at our sole discretion, with or without cause, including for non-compliance with these Terms.

13. Miscellaneous

13.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by TELA, constitute the entire agreement between you and TELA concerning the use of the App and services.

13.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13.3 Assignment: TELA may assign or transfer these Terms to any third party without notice, and you may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent.
